The Dr. G. Sauer Corporation has established a field office in the DMJM+Harris/URS Project Office. In the first phase, numerous construction alternatives are studied and preliminary design documents are produced for the running tunnels and stations. Andreas Bluemel and Gerald Skalla are coordinating the design efforts in Boston, while the Washington project team around Rolf Thoensen is responsible for the production of the design documents.
