Third Annual Houston Transportation and Mobility Conference on December 1st and 2nd, 2005.
The Transportation and Mobility Conference is a communication forum designed to assist individuals and institutions better understand the many transportation and mobility challenges encountered in the Houston Metropolitan area.
Objectives:
- Bring together public agencies, engineering consultants, transportation providers, and research institutions
- Enhance cooperation between public agencies and private entities who are stakeholders in the transportation infrastructure of the Houston metropolitan area.
- Create awareness about current and future regional transportation needs
Topics for the conference are selected based on the current transportation and mobility challenges and projects found in the Houston regions. While some speakers present topics about current transportation projects, others bring to Houston unique experiences implemented in other metropolitan areas.
