An effective method of controlling, rather than trying to stop water leakage into existing underground structures.

Rehabilitation: water ingress into tunnels or other underground structures can be controlled by drawing down into effective drainage systems which can be insulated if necessary against the effects of freezing.

Efficient waterproofing system for underground structures were developed in the 1970's. Today clients will insist on the inclusion of such a system at the early design stage of an underground project

There are however, a huge number of tunnels and underground structure that were built without adequate water control systems. Today, water leakage into tunnels causes serious damage to the structural integrity of the facility, its mechanical and electrical installations and questions the safety of its future operation.

Past repair practices of trying to prevent leakage by grout injection of the concrete lining and the adjacent ground with cement or resin grouts have shown only limited success. A new system has therefore been developed by the company to control water ingress by drawing it down into effective drainage systems which can if necessary be insulated against the damaging effects of freezing temperatures.

The system provides for a clean easy to maintain interior of the underground space and work is carried out with only minimal interference of the structure's operation.
