Dr. Gerhard Sauer at Stanford University

On October 20th 2004 Dr. Gerhard Sauer presented a lecture on his article "Tunneling and Beyond" in Prof. Russel Clough's construction management class at Stanford University. The Audience consisted of graduate students and interested members of the industry. The presentation covered technical and contractual aspects of TBM and NATM/SEM tunneling, case histories and recent developments as well as lessons learned in this field and was followed by some interesting discussions.
