Dr Sauer & Partners has been assigned to assess the ground movement impact of the proposed BSCU tunnelling works on the existing LU (London Underground) & DLR (Docklands Light Railway) civil assets in the Bank-Monument station complex.
The ITA-AITES Czech Tunnelling Association is preparing for its 13th International Conference entitled “Underground Construction Prague 2016”, taking place in Prague, from 23rd to 25th May 2016.

Since 21st March 2016, Dr. Sauer & Partners has been supporting a Masters Thesis in coordination with the Technical University of Graz. The topic of the thesis is “Trigger Values in Sprayed Concrete Lined (SCL) Shallow Tunnels” and is prepared by Thomas Meixner.
The World Tunnel Congress for 2016 will take place in San Francisco later this month, and Dr. Sauer & Partners will be present at the event.
Start of SCL construction is imminent as Dr. Sauer & Partners submit Arthur Street Construction Shaft Design to LU for Compliance. In parallel DLR Sprayed Concrete Lining (SCL) temporary works designs have evolved.

Tunnelling works in Bond Street Station are now almost complete. The Southern tunnels were delivered in September 2015 and 30% of the Northern tunnels have already been handed over to the fit out team.
